Stack Jump

Stack Jump strips the arcade climber down to a single input. Your character stands on top of a tower; the next platform slides in from off-screen and bounces steadily left and right above you. One tap fires a fixed vertical hop, so the entire game lives in the moment you choose to press. Land, settle, read the next platform's rhythm, hop again.

The scoring rewards precision, not just survival. Any landing adds a point, but touching down within the platform's central sweet spot flashes PERFECT and extends a combo that pays escalating bonuses. The combo resets the instant you land off-center, which turns a routine climb into a rhythm exercise — the best runs are unbroken strings of perfects, not lucky recoveries near the edge.

The 200-level campaign raises tower height from 10 jumps to 50 while platforms narrow and slide faster, and each block moves at its own slightly different pace to break your rhythm. Endless Stack removes the finish line and ramps difficulty continuously as your score grows. A campaign tower clears in well under a minute; an endless run lasts precisely as long as your focus does. Progress and bests are stored on your device.

How to play Stack Jump

One tap is the entire control scheme — everything else is watching the platform and picking your moment.

  1. Wait on your block and watch the next platform slide side to side overhead.
  2. Tap (or click) as the platform approaches the tower's center line — the jump lasts a fixed time, so aim for where the block will be, not where it is.
  3. Land anywhere on the platform to climb one step and score a point.
  4. Land within the middle stretch of the block for a PERFECT — each consecutive perfect adds a bigger combo bonus to your score.
  5. In campaign mode, reach the level's target height (shown as height/target in the HUD) to clear the tower and unlock the next one.
  6. Misjudge the timing and your character falls past the edge — that's the end of the run.

Tips and strategy

  • Tap slightly before the platform reaches center: the block keeps moving while you're in the air, so a small lead lands you in the sweet spot.
  • Every platform has its own speed. Give each new block one full left-right pass before jumping so its rhythm is in your head.
  • Chase perfects on the wide early blocks — the combo bonus compounds, and the first stretch of a tower is the cheapest place to bank it.
  • When a narrow, fast block rattles you, take a safe off-center landing to secure the step; a broken combo costs far less than a fall.
  • In Endless Stack the difficulty follows your score, so a deliberate, steady pace outlasts a hot streak of rushed taps.

Frequently asked questions

Is Stack Jump free?

Yes — all 200 towers and the endless mode are playable in-browser at no cost.

What counts as a PERFECT landing?

Touching down within the central portion of the platform. Consecutive perfects build a combo, and each link in the chain pays a bigger bonus than the last.

How is Endless Stack different from the campaign?

Campaign towers have a fixed height and hand-set difficulty per level; Endless has no top and instead tightens platform width and speed continuously as your score climbs.

Why do I keep missing?

Most misses come from tapping when the platform looks right rather than where it will be at landing. Lead your taps a little, especially on the fast movers.

Is my best score saved?

Your furthest campaign level and high scores live in the browser's local storage and will be waiting on your next visit from the same device.

How long does a session take?

A single tower clears in under a minute, so a few levels — or one stubborn endless run — fits comfortably into a short break.
